Industry leaders joined up-and-coming designers and suppliers at Ceramics 2010, an exhibition held at Stoke-on-Trent’s Britannia Stadium.

“This was a great chance to show that as well as traditional ware, ceramics is now about so much more than pots and plates,” said Laura Cohen, chief executive of the British Ceramics Confederation.

More than 80 exhibitors took advantage of this excellent chance to show how important ceramics is to the UK manufacturing industry and hundreds of visitors attended the event.

“Ceramics touch everyone’s life and this exhibition was our chance to illustrate that with high-tech ceramics companies exhibiting next to traditional potters and cutting-edge designers.
